2018 Golden Globe Film Award Winners (Complete List)

The 75th Golden Globe Awards took place on January 7, 2018, at The Beverly Hilton where the HFPA honoured achievements in film and television from 2017.

The theme of the night was unsurprisingly the ongoing struggle of women against sexual harassment and abuse. With movements like #MeToo and the move towards freeing the industry of its swine, the night was a much needed ode to women, and will hopefully be the beginning of a new era for Hollywood.

Oprah was named the recipient of the Cecil B. DeMille Award for her contribution to the entertainment industry throughout her illustrious career. As expected, the mogul delivered a powerful speech in which she honoured women, both living and dead, known and unknown, who continue to inspire by enduring their hardships and speaking up about them.

In what can only be described as one of the most interesting Awards Seasons in recent memory, making predictions has been especially difficult due to the extent to which precursors have been distributed across numerous titles. But with the Golden Globes came a host of new names that shook the game, and now with the announcement of the winners, the road to the Oscars for performers thought to be sure fire winners has become rocky. Still, some expected names like Lady Bird, The Shape of Water, and Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri were repeated throughout the night.
